The Winter Water Factory

It's nearly time for me to start designing again after a few months off work with a new baby. The prospect of returning to work has been quite daunting (finding time for work while tending to a baby and a toddler is a challenge!) But a quick look at some of my favourite sites on the web has inspired and excited me aplenty. Here is my favourite find of the day:

Stefanie Lynen is a Brooklyn-based designer who creates these bold textile prints under her label The Winter Water Factory.

The original “Winterwasserfabrik” was founded in the early 1980s in Eschweiler, Germany, where Stefanie and her sister bottled melted snow and sold it to their parents as “winter water.” The garments above are part of the new collection instore at Noeuf.
